Ambiguous Women in the Glorious Qur’an : An Objective Study

Abstract

In this research I deal with a very important topic, which is the ambiguous women in the Glorious  Qur’an, an objective study, as I found in it the names of the women that were mentioned ambiguous, whether women from the previous nations or the women of this nation, with the definition of the ambiguity in language and terminology. The importance of realizing ambiguity,  and the most important reasons for the arrival of it and the way to know the ambiguity is the correct transmission from the Prophet (peace be upon him) and from the companions and followers.

     Then I touched on the sayings of the commentators in determining the ambiguous name, so I mentioned opinions on that, and Allah is the guardian of success.
