This research deals with the term “The Sciences of the Qur’an at the Companions era,”. The manuscript presents the definition of the origins of the Qur’an’s science in the era of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them. The researcher shows that, these branches of sciences start with first verses The advent of the science of the Qur’an was related to the beginning of the revelation of the Holy Qur’an upon the Prophet, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him. The companions knew these types of sciences by default without calling them “sciences of the Qur’an”. In addition to the definition, the manuscript also deals with a group of sciences known to the Companions, including: Meccan and Medinan science, the interpretation science, the science deals with the first and the last verses that were revealed, and the science of the reasons for descent. The researcher investigates, discusses and analyses texts mentioned about the companions regarding to these sciences.
